Welcome to Chuck’s Blog. This site is devoted to the sharing of general conservative ideas. Politics and Religion are subjects that are often best to avoid in general conversation. They are fair game here. To find items of interest just click on a category of interest or on the “Current Posts” link at the top. The available category choices will increase over time.
Current events, the weather, humor, and other general comments, praises or gripes are allowed here. Vulgar or abusive language or “flames” are not. Persons violating these guidelines will likely have their posts/comments removed and be subject to loss of privileges, or barred from the board entirely. This is a “G” rated board. Please respect that to make it a pleasant place for everyone.
All visitors are welcome and you do not have to agree with any screwball views of Chuck, the administrators, or other members of this board to participate. However, you are expected to be respectful of others. Please feel welcome to register and contribute to the discussions on the board.
Since this is Chuck’s Blog Page it is devoted to the open discussion of topics that might be of interest either to Chuck or to other members here. Information found here reflects Chuck’s opinion, or at least his degree of tolerance. If that happens to vary with your own personal perception of reality, so be it. You are welcome to your opinion, or if you desire even to espouse your ridiculous ideas here so the rest of us can get a few giggles. However, on these pages keep in mind that, as senior administrator, Chuck’s opinion, at least with regard to administration of the board, rules. 
Administrator’s background: a retired USAF Major and spent 20+ years as a navigator and electronics warfare officer, electronics engineer, and flight test engineer for the USAF. BS in Electrical Engineering and a MA in Counseling Psychology and spent a number of years teaching computer programming and an occasional psychology class thrown in before retiring from a local community college. A business owner who operated a computer services business until retirement finally stuck a few years ago. Married with two children and four grandchildren. Favored activities include such outdoor activities as Hunting, Fishing, Scuba Diving, RVing, Travel, as well as computers and politics.
A southern Christian conservative who spent many years as a political independent where I supported conservative candidates from both political parties. In more recent years as I watched the Democratic party drifting farther left away from my views into socialism, I have become an unapologetic Republican. The Republican party has its faults, but at least it has not descended into the Marxist/Socialist agenda as has the opposition.
I believe in traditional values, patriotism, and in general the idea of government valued by folks like G Washington, A Hamilton, T Jefferson, and R Reagan. The government should exist for the good of the people, not the other way around. It should be applied as close to the voters as possible, not concentrated under the power brokers in Washington. It should be limited to the powers granted to the government by the constitution, not ever expanding its hold over the citizens seizing power it was never granted. I have little tolerance for political correctness and the liberal/socialist nonsence that has become the benchmark of Washington political life in the 21st century.
